Restaurant near AFAS Dome: dinner before the show

AXXES is a café-restaurant at the Kinepolis complex in Antwerp, twelve minutes on tram 6 from AFAS Dome, formerly the Sportpaleis. Order a stonegrill, fajitas or meat from the Josper charcoal oven, then take the tram to the venue. On show day, your concert ticket is also your De Lijn tram pass.

    Allow 20 minutes

    Six minutes on foot to the Kinepolis stop, twelve minutes on tram 6 and two minutes to the entrance. It runs every 8 minutes during the day and every 10 to 15 minutes in the evening.

    After the show

    Tram 6 takes you back to the Kinepolis stop, also after midnight. Check your last tram in the De Lijn app.

    Carpaccio or garlic scampi, then fajitas combinación on the cast-iron plate.

  • Stonegrill with meat on a hot natural stone

    Stonegrill mixed meat €30.50 pp

    Steak, turkey, chicken and burger, which you cook yourself on the hot stone. For 2 people or more.

  • Fajitas Combinación

    Fajitas Combinación €28.50

    Beef tenderloin tips and chicken breast, sizzling on the cast-iron plate. With tortillas, rice, beans, guacamole and salsa. For 2 people or more.

  • Steak natural

    Belgian beef, 200 g from the Josper, with a fresh salad.

Is AXXES next to AFAS Dome?

No. AXXES is at the Kinepolis complex, 2.8 km from AFAS Dome. Tram 6 gets you there in about 20 minutes door to door; by bike it's 11 minutes.

Is AFAS Dome the old Sportpaleis?

Yes. It's the same venue in the same place on Schijnpoortweg, next to Lotto Arena. Only the name has changed.

Where can I eat near AFAS Dome?

Inside the venue there are bars, food stands and a food corner with fries and snacks. For a sit-down meal, AXXES serves stonegrill, fajitas and meat from the Josper, 12 minutes away by tram.

Do I pay for the tram?

Not on show day. Your ticket for AFAS Dome or Lotto Arena counts as a De Lijn travel pass in the province of Antwerp, there and back.

Can I still come in after the concert?

For a drink, yes: we're open until 11 pm, on Friday and Saturday until midnight. Ask beforehand whether the kitchen is still open.

Is there parking?

Yes, the Kinepolis complex car park, next to AXXES. Going on to AFAS Dome or Lotto Arena? Park for free at P+R Luchtbal (Noorderlaan 500) and take tram 6: three stops to us.
